Study of interactions among organisms and their environments as an integrated system. Examination of pools, fluxes and distribution patterns of material and energy through ecological systems, as well as their regulating factors. Introduction to scientific basis of ecosystem management at local, regional and global scales. Prerequisite: BIOL 355 or 373. 4 credits.
