Catalog description

Introduction to the immune mechanisms that protect the body from invading microorganisms and disease. Topics include antibody production and function, cell-mediated immunity, hypersensitivity and cytokines and their relation to disease. Prerequisites: one of the following: BIOL (BCHM) 401, 403, 304, 311, 314.
