Catalog description

This open studio course allows advanced students to develop strengths and to work on areas of weakness pertaining to their own interests and choice of materials. The result is a self-designed, cohesive body of work. Relevant readings are discussed, and the artist statement is created. Through these means, the relationship between form and content and processes and materials are explored. Prerequisites: ARTS 240, 340. Class is offered regularly.
