ARTS 410 "Graphic Design 3" is a continuation of the study of image, text, and meaning from ARTS 305. The course explores the interaction of text, image, form, color and the use of the design process to creatively and effectively communicate a message. Projects will challenge students with situations they may encounter as a professional graphic designer to organize, simplify, and clarify information-to help audiences process complex information efficiently. The course will cover a range of design modalities including infographics, visual iconography design, wayfinding, motion and interface design expressed across print and digital media. Offered Fall and Spring semesters. Prerequisites: ARTS 210, 300, 305, and 310. Note: A fee of $95 is associated with this course.
