Catalog description

Students will explore the capabilities of digital tools to animate graphics, images, and sound. Focusing primarily on Adobe After Effects and supplemented by Adobe Premiere and Audition, the course will investigate the principles and possibilities of movement, duration, manipulation, and presentation of digitally based artwork. Techniques and skills covered will be relevant to producing design-oriented projects, motion graphics, storytelling, animations, and works grounded in individual artistic expression. Prerequisite: ARTS 305 or ARTS 265 or ARTS 280E or ARTS 268 or CINE 252 or CINE 353 or DIDA 120 - C or better. Offered regularly.
