Catalog description
This course emphasizes interdisciplinary and experimental approaches to contemporary printmaking that bring traditional materials and processes into dialogue with emerging technologies and practices. Studio and research assignments will foster a deeper understanding of printmaking’s evolving place in contemporary artistic practice. Students will engage with the complexity of techniques and materials available to artists as they explore the boundaries of the medium and develop their unique creative vision and voice. Prerequisite: ARTS 251. Offered every other semester.
