Catalog description

This course will provide the essential technical skills used in historical and contemporary printmaking. Through exploration, application and independent research: the student will have the opportunity to develop a portfolio that utilizes intaglio printmaking methods and monotype. This is a unique course and will be individually tailored for the printmaking student. The student will be introduced to large format printing, color separation, registration on a variety of papers, and various surface materials. Prerequisites: ARTS 171 or ARTS 251 or ARTS 254 or ARTS 255. This course is offered regularly.
