Catalog description

An intermediate level course structured around three-dimensional design techniques and concepts that allow students to develop skills and ideas with emphasis on materials, tools, technique and process. Projects may include carving, casting, paper and cardboard construction, wood construction, welding, mixed media, and assemblage. Emphasis will be on technique and form as it relates to craftsmanship, three dimensional thinking and materials. Prerequisites: ARTS 230. Class is offered fall and spring semesters.
