Catalog description
This course will focus on the application of digital concepts within a studio art practice. Lectures, readings, and studio assignments will examine the computer’s unique capabilities as an art-making tool and also explore its influence on traditional and interdisciplinary forms of art. This course will develop basic understanding and skills relevant to digital-based processes: industry-standard software, vector and raster graphics, and generative art. Students will acquire a strong technical foundation that furthers the development of their artistic vision. Offered regularly.
