Catalog description
ARTS 210 “Graphic Design 1” will introduce students to two-dimensional elements and principles of graphic design. Through a problem-solving approach, formal and conceptual experimentation, students will develop clear understanding of visual communication design. Students will manipulate elements using principles of graphic design in black-and-white and color media. Emphasis will be given to the importance of concept development, presentation, and craftsmanship skills. Prerequisite: None. Offered fall and spring semesters.
