In this course, we focus on works of fiction that have taken as their subject the life of people during the Ice Age in Europe. Once we have read these, what kinds of lasting effects do they have on how we think about Ice Age Europe? What is the relationship between popular culture, fiction, use of the imagination and scholarly archaeology and anthropology? Archaeological area course.
