Catalog description
This course provides students the opportunity to become acquainted with Korea through a study of its culture, history, literature, and language. It situates debates on territory, politics, and society in a broader historical context from prehistoric times and in different eras of “globalization”. Students will also examine contemporary case studies of their interest. Knowledge of Korean is not required.
