PRACTICUM/INTERN/CO-OP

Catalog description

This course provides practical experience in the field early in the student's training as an electrician's helper on the job, working a special project, or conducting research in a directed area of the field. Emphasis is placed on gaining hands-on experience with tools of the trade, as well as a better understanding of NEC directives. Upon completion, students should possess a higher state of proficiency in the basic skills of connecting electrical wiring and conduit. This course may be repeated with the instructors permission.
