Capstone for Baccalaureate Nursing Practice

Catalog description

The capstone course will offer the student the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills obtained from the Pharmacological/Pathophysiological Basis for Complex Illness Nursing Care courses. The capstone project concentrates on the application of strategic planning concepts to baccalau- reate nursing practice. Emphasis will be placed on the development of critical thinking skills and research utilization to establish an evidenced based practice project. This course provides the student with an opportunity to integrate concepts learned throughout the RN-BSN curriculum.
