Catalog description
This course provides the last semester nursing student with the opportu - nity to synthesize and apply nursing concepts. This course also contains a clinical practicum component based on the application of clinical deci - sion-making in order to provide comprehensive nursing care to persons in inpatient or community settings. Students choose an area of interest and obtain clinical experience under the supervision of a preceptor. (2 hours class and 12 hours clinical per week.) Prerequisites: NUR 410, 414, 418. Students who earn a grade of “C” or higher are exempt from COE 401.
