Writing a thesis on a topic related to the major or minor. Must be approved by both the academic advisor and the major or minor professor who supervises the thesis. Prerequisites: the student must be a senior English major with at least a 3.0 GPA in the major (and minor if thesis is on a topic in the minor); approval of both the academic advisor and supervising professor. exceptionAl leArning & development ELD 314. Survey of Children with Exceptionalities (3 hours) An introductory study of emotional, learning, and behavioral characteristics of children with exceptionalities, including programs, services, legal requirements, and instructional techniques.
