Reading, analyzing, and writing about a variety of literary genres including poetry, drama, the short story, and the novel. Research paper required. Prerequisite: ENG 101 with a grade of C or better or exemption. ENG 131A-431A Bethel Beacon (1 hour) Reporting, writing, editing, and layout work for the “Bethel Beacon” newspaper.
