• Assessment Field Experience

Catalog description

Identifies students’ strengths and needs through assessment. Clarifies the purpose of multidisciplinary teams. Develops evaluation reports and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA). Explains assessment results to family, student, and staff. Creates interventions and develops a plan for continued professional growth in assessment. Completes 30 hours over 12 weeks in a K-12 setting. Corequisites: SPED 410 , SPED 454 .
