Catalog description
Integration of anti-racism, anti-oppressive, and justice-informed theories and practice in social work experience. Understanding of how one's own cultural identity impacts engagement and assessment with individuals, groups, families, organizations, and communities. Application of interpersonal skills within a multi-service community-based agency setting. Students participate in 75 hours of community-based learning. Prerequisites: SOW 210Z ; SOW 180 or PSY 203 (may be taken concurrently). Offered: Fall.
