Methods and materials for teaching music in the elementary school. The skills of singing, playing, moving, improvising, reading, and listening are explored as a means of helping children gain an intuitive and theoretical understanding of musical principles. Prerequisites: EDU 276 / EDU 241 ; Major or minor in music; Admission to the Education program. Offered: Fall.
