• Mathematics Education Field Experience in Grades 5-8 or 5-12

Catalog description

Students observe and participate in a high school and/or middle school mathematics classroom (minimum 40 hours on site). Deeper understanding of preadolescent and adolescent learners as well as curriculum, instruction, and assessment in the context of grades 5-12 school communities. Prerequisites: EDU 276 ; EDU 241 or EDU 273 ; EDU 410 (must be taken concurrently) or EDU 412 (must be taken concurrently); Admission to the Education program. Offered: Fall.
