Catalog description

Analyzes how cultural structures and values shape privilege and power. Identifies practices that promote equitable rights and responsibilities. Examines strength-based assets and community empowerment. Applies self-awareness, relationship-building, interprofessional collaboration, theoretical frameworks, and evidence-informed interventions to address client and community needs. Prerequisites: SOWK 210 and SOWK 180 (may be taken concurrently).
