Develops advanced skills and integration of anti-racism, anti-oppressive and justice-informed theories and practice to social work experience. How one’s cultural identity impacts engagement and assessment with individuals, groups, families, organizations, and communities. Application of interpersonal skills within a multi-service community-based agency setting. Includes 75 hours of community-based learning. Prerequisites: SOW 210Z ; SOW 180 or PSY 203 (may be taken concurrently) and SOW 320 . Offered: Spring.
