Language development in infants, toddlers, and children; causes and characteristics of language disorders in children from birth through early adulthood. Addresses the social determinants of health, ethical, cultural, and socioeconomic issues that influence language development, diagnosis and treatment of disorders, and prevention of language disorders in educational and medical settings. Prerequisites: SLPL 204 . Offered: Fall.
