Catalog description

Survey of contemporary technologies and studies of brain structure and function and their relation to cognitive abilities and emotion. Introduction to modern technologies of brain mapping such as MRI, PET, and CAT scans. Combines neuroscience, philosophy of self, psychology, linguistics, and sociobiology. Prerequisites: Laboratory Science (D) course and Mathematics (M) course. Offered: Occasionally January.
