Teaching methodologies, materials, assessment, historical and current trends and issues in curriculum, development of a philosophy of mathematics education, and other topics related to teaching and learning mathematics in grades 5-8 and 9-12. Practice in planning lessons and units, implementing technology, and teaching. Prerequisites: EDU 276 / EDU 241 ; EDU 411 (must be taken concurrently); Admission to the Education program. Offered: Fall.
