Catalog description

An introductory course in macroeconomics that helps students understand how the economy as a whole functions and how government policies can affect economic outcomes. Topics include: measures of economic aggregates like GDP, inflation, and unemployment, the study of concepts like aggregate demand and supply, and monetary and fiscal policy. Offered: Fall, Spring. Special Notes: It is expected that students take ECO 202 and ECO 203 in the same term.
