Catalog description

An examination of communication in electronic media through the analysis and development of narrative structure and story elements as they are used in a variety of media industries. Students learn to create compelling stories for audio and visual media through the analysis of scene, character arc, action, motif, etc. Prerequisites: COM 170A or Consent of instructor. Offered: Spring, even # years.
