An introduction to the legal aspects and general structure of business dealings. Topics include an overview of the American legal system, general contract law, pertinent aspects of the Uniform Commercial Code, and various forms of business organizations. Some aspects of employment and real estate law are also covered. Prerequisites: BUS 230 and one other 200-level business course. Offered: Fall, Spring.
