Catalog description

This course is a continuation of Principles and Practices of Surgical Technology I. Emphasis is on the anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology of body structures and functions as they relate to treatment and surgical interventions. This course reinforces principles of surgical technique including the perioperative sequence, instrumentation, equipment, supplies, and management of the sterile field.
