Catalog description

This course is an analysis of the goals, ethics and values of social workers, agency structure, how social workers can advocate for change across client role that advocacy and a strengths-based perspective plays in the role of a social worker. Though lectures and group participation, students learn perspectives, definitions, dynamic, current issues, and social work roles while working within a multicultural society. 3 lectures, 3 credits
