This course is the study of state, county, and municipal political systems. The course examines the making and enforcement of public policy and the political roles of the people, political parties, political machines, and pressure groups. Intergovernmental relations and evolving patterns of metropolitan government are analyzed with an emphasis on New Jersey and Bergen County. >General Education Course
