Catalog description

This course enables the student to develop competence in coding systems, diagnoses, and procedures for data collection and processing. The student will follow federal regulations and guidelines for sequencing of diagnoses and processing activities. The laboratory component of the course is utilized to develop the skills and competencies to perform coding through both manual and computer-based methods.
