English Composition II

Catalog description
English Composition II continues the emphasis of Composition I on expository/analytical writing, with a greater focus on critical thinking and writing in response to class readings of texts such as short stories, poems, and plays. The course will develop students' critical reading, thinking, and writing skills, essential for the producation of persuasive, well supported essays and multi-modal assignments. A research project is required.
