Catalog description
The second of three practice courses in the social work curriculum, this course is designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge, values, and skills to effectively engage, assess, intervene, and facilitate groups within diverse generalist practice environments. Through practical exercises, case discussions, and experiential learning students will gain insight into the dynamics of group interactions, develop leadership skills, and understand the role of social workers in fostering positive change in the context of groups.
