Catalog description

Organizations must be faster, more creative, and more flexible to achieve and sustain a significant competitive advantage, given the likelihood of limited or non-existent resources to support innovations and initiatives. This course focuses on the concepts, factors, and practices of entrepreneurial thinking and activities within existing organizations. It further examines organizational culture characteristics that facilitate or inhibit corporate venturing and considers ways to mitigate the challenges that limit innovation and growth. Emphasis is placed on how new venture opportunities are identified, launched, and managed within existing systems and structures. Cross Listed with ETP 3010
