Catalog description

Students will work on real-world analytics projects, solving problems or addressing specific challenges faced by sports teams, leagues, or organizations. Using the tools and techniques learned in courses such as Introduction to Data Science, Sport Analytics, and Data Analytics and Visualization, students will gather and analyze data, develop insights, and propose actionable solutions. The course culminates in a professional portfolio showcasing the student’s work, including the analytics methods used, the problem-solving process, and final recommendations. This project-based approach prepares students for careers in sport analytics, providing hands-on experience with real industry challenges.
