Catalog description
Each 3 hour course will be given to one nation. Revolving courses on a regular rotation include French Film History, French New Wave to Now, Global Cinemas and other sections will be created, including cinemas of Asia, Africa, South America, and more. The course will examine the cultural, societal, political, and aesthetic aspects of the nation’s film canon. The course will build on theoretical, critical and analytical frameworks learned in MOT 1110 Film History. This course may be repeated once with a different topic.
