Women In Editing provides an in-depth study of women editors and their unique contributions to the film community. The class will examine the role that women play in the history of editing. Each week the class will stream a film edited by a woman. Students will read articles and interviews about each editor and take part in class discussions about the editor and her films. This process provides a unique dive into the history of women’s roles in the production of visual medias within the film industry.
