Multimedia Reporting

Catalog description

This course will build on and combine the principles of news reporting and digital media production to teach students how to be backpack journalists - scrappy one-person bands who can produce not only written stories, but return to their newsrooms with the right visuals to enhance their work. Students will learn how to translate their reporting into audio, photos and video using ethical reporting practices.
