Catalog description

We will review and apply traditional contract principles to specific entertainment industries, including music, television, film, talent, live performance, and video games. This course is intended to approach the study of entertainment law from a practical perspective to better understand best practices. As such, we will be participating in mock negotiations, group exercises, and contract drafting and review sessions throughout the semester with a focus on key components/clauses of entertainment transactions and agreements. Course formerly listed as CEI 4100.
