Catalog description

Students will study important topics such as truth, fairness, privacy, conflicts of interest, and responsible storytelling. Through case studies, guest speakers, videos, and practical projects, students will develop skills to make ethical decisions in reporting and media work. The course includes a final project where students create a story that follows ethical guidelines.
