Catalog description

An emphasis is placed on analyzing the various subject matter that patent, copyright, trademark, trade secrets and rights of publicity protect. In addition to learning about the protections granted by intellectual property, students will also gain an appreciation for the strategies to guard against infringing upon third party intellectual property rights and the relevance of intellectual property in the creative and entertainment industries, including choreography, music, film, television, and video games. Course formerly listed as CEI 2400.
