Corequisites: EDU 2300 The development and implementation of research based strategies for teaching are studied for the effective teaching of all learners. This course focuses on understanding theories and strategies that address the needs of a diverse population that compose today’s classrooms. Included in this course will be diversity issues, planning techniques, effective teaching strategies, differentiated instructional and assessment strategies, motivational concepts, informal and formal assessment practices, as well as utilization of technology to support learning. This course requires a corequisite of EDU 2300 to complete 20 hours of field experience.
