Catalog description

Serving to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public they must be part of the design process. Study includes regulations that shape the built environment at large (land use) and smaller scales (codes). Specific regulatory implications will include zoning, building codes, and accessibility regulations. Communication of regulatory parameters from design intent to construction implementation will be discussed. The productive and limiting consequences of regulations will also be contrasted and discussed.
