Biostatistics in Public Health

Catalog description

This course introduces the foundations of biostatistics in public health. Specific topics include epidemiological study designs, selection of appropriate statistics, data summarizing, making inferences regarding population parameters, hypothesis testing, data visualization, and statistical analysis and reporting. Emphasis will be placed on proper data collection, usage, and analyses for public health.
