Public Health in Film

Catalog description

This course will examine public health issues and factors that impact health outcomes through the use of film and visual media. Students will evaluate how science and scientific information are portrayed in films, and how the perspective of filmmakers and documentarians can influence the public’s interpretation of public health issues.
