Catalog description

For Biology majors: 16 hours Biology, CEM 1520 , MTH 1160 (or coreq) For BMB majors: 16 hours BMB coursework For Environmental Science majors: 16 hours ENV coursework, MTH 1160 (or coreq) and permission from the department Completion of an independent laboratory or field research project under the supervision of a selected faculty member. Student’s work must be presented at the College of Sciences and Mathematics Undergraduate Research Symposium (SURS) or the Scholarship, Performance, Art, Research, and Knowledge Symposium (SPARK). May be repeated up to a maximum of 8 credit hours.
