Biology Independent Studies

Catalog description

Course in which a student may pursue a specialized topic of interest under the supervision of a faculty member. Each credit hour requires 50 hours of work for the semester, with a minimum of one hour per week meeting with the faculty member. May be repeated for up to 6 credit hours using any combination of 1, 2, and 3 credit hour courses, however only 3 hours may be used as biology electives for the biology major. For Biology and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology majors only. Does not count toward the Biology minor. $50.00 course fee.
