Catalog description

This introductory course will explain how coastal and oceanic ecosystems look, function, and work. In addition, the course will help students examine and identify different kinds of marine and coastal organisms and their unique adaptations. The course will also identify and assess human impacts on coastal and marine ecosystems. (This course does not count toward a major or minor in biology). Cross Listed with BIO 3060 Maymester.
